Thomas Bartosch *1964

  • Studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Concert piano, concert trumpet, music education BI teaching certificate 1990, jazz piano (Roland Batik))
  • first compositions already at the age of twelve, television performances
    with his own compositions in the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting)
  • Orchestra audition at the "Theater an der Wien - Vereinigte Bühnen
    Wien" 1984
  • First ongoing keyboarder at numerous productions for the "Vereinigte
    Bühnen Wiens" (United Stages Vienna)
  • Many record productions for the "Vereinigte Bühnen Wien",
    studio musician for Michael Heltau, Harald Juhnke, Peter Alexander and many more
  • Gala performances with Gilbert Bécaud, Jerry Lewis, Agnes Baltsa, Placido Domingo, Maria Bill
  • 1987 assistant of MD Andre Bauer, musical rehearsal of A.L. Webber's
    "Song and Dance" in London
  • Tour with Angelika Milster 1987 and 1988 in German-speaking countries
  • Since 1993 freelance musical director and arranger for various musical
    productions, including productions for the "Jeunesse", the
    "Vereinigte Bühnen Wiens", City of Vienna
  • Conductor of the musical "Elvis" Stadttheater Klagenfurt
  • Conductor of the musical "High Society" at the Vienna Metropol
  • Musical rehearsals for the "Vereinigte Bühnen Wiens":
    "Elisabeth", "Chicago" 
  • Musical rehearsals for the "Steirischer Herbst" (International
    Festival of New Art), Graz 2003
  • Composition studies at the University of Vienna (Erich Urbanner) 
  • 2004 conductor at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wiens "Barbarella" 
  • From 2005 active in the NTO "Niederösterreichisches
    Tonkünstlerorchester" (Orchestra of the Province of Lower Austria) and the
    RSO "Radiosymphonie Orchester Wien" (Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra)
    as a freelance pianist and keyboarder for concerts and CD productions (Steve Reich, Benedict Mason, John Adams, Daniel Schnyder) 
  • Guest performances with the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in Berlin, Moscow,
    Beijing (2001), Trieste (2005), Tokyo and Osaka (2007) 
  • 2007 second diploma with honors (Mag.art.) in composition (Erich
