Lukáš Borzík studied guitar play at the Conservatory in Žilina (1999 - 2003). Between 2000 and 2003 took private lessons of composition with Pavol Krška. In 2003 started study of composition at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava with Vladimír Bokes. In
2005 participated at the summer festival for new music and composition courses „Ostrava Days“ in Czech Republic and at „Internationale Musikwerkstatt in Schloss Trebnitz“ in Germany. His compositions are regularly performed at the concerts and music festivals in Slovakia (Orfeus, ABB, New Slovak Music, concerts of SOOZVUK) and abroad (Germany, Spain). Lukáš Borzík is also author of scenic music for various theatre performances.
