The Danish Ensemble Esbjerg Ensemble are presenting Swedish and Finnish music at the Royal Academy of Music in Esbjerg. They will pair two older composers Jean Sibelius (FI) and Franz Berwald (SE) with two living composers from the two countries, Kaija Saariaho and Anders Eliasson.  They have chosen Pentagramm (2003) by Anders Eliasson from the RE:NEW Music repertoire database, submitted by the Swedish KammerensembleN. Esbjerg Ensemble, February 10, at 20.00.

Jean Sibelius: String Quartet in d, op. 56 "Voces Intimae" (1909)

The concert will be transmitted live on Danish Radio P2 from 19.00.
The concert will also be performed in Svendborg February 7.
